Certified System Security Analyst (CSSA) Course in Regular Mode
  


Government of India (Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology ) has launched Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA) project with the aim of imparting Information Security education at different levels in the country. One of the objectives of the ISEA project is to implement a robust certification mechanism in Information Security with technical experience and guidance from Resource Centres (RC- premier institutes like IITs and IISc.) which will set the international acceptable standards with DOEACC as the implementing organization.

With the above objective in the mind, the DOEACC is launching Certification Scheme in Information Security with three levels of certification scheme as a part of Information Security Education and Awareness project. Candidates taking admission in Regular Course will be provided classroom facility ,six months training will be commenced at DOEACC Centres offering such training programme.

Admission Process : Admission to the regular course shall be based on the entrance examination conducted at national level by DOEACC Society. Entrance Examination will be conducted in the month of May and Decemeber of each year. 
   “Presently the certification scheme is open for Level-1 only.”
  



Eligibility Criteria
Level-1.Certified System Security Analyst (CSSA)
B.E./B.Tech.(All Streams)/MCA/DOEACC “B” Level/M.Sc(Computer Science/IT)
Note : Final year appearing students who will pass before 30th July 2010, may also apply for Certification.
Course Fee (For Regular Candidates):
Tution Fees - Rs 15000.00+Service Tax
Registration Fees - Rs 500.00+ Service Tax
Examination Fees - Rs 2500.00+Service Tax
(Theory + Practical)
Duration - Six Months

Admission for Vacant Seats after first round of Councelling.
Last date of Admission 09-08-2010.
