Government of India (Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology ) has launched Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA) project with the aim of imparting Information Security education at different levels in the country. One of the objectives of the ISEA project is to implement a robust certification mechanism in Information Security with technical experience and guidance from Resource Centres (RC- premier institutes like IITs and IISc.) which will set the international acceptable standards with DOEACC as the implementing organization.

With the above objective in the mind, the DOEACC is launching Certification Scheme in Information Security with three levels of certification scheme as a part of Information Security Education and Awareness project.
   “Presently the certification scheme is open for Level-1 only.”

Eligibility Criteria
Level-1.Certified System Security Analyst
(Duration : Six Months)
Graduate in Engineering/MCA/DOEACC “B” Level/M.Sc(Computer Science/IT)
Note : Final year appearing students who will pass before 30th July 2010, may also apply for Certification.

Level-2.Certified System Security Professional
(Duration : Six Months)
Level-1(Certified System Security Analyst) / Graduate in Engineering/MCA/DOEACC “B” Level/M.Sc(Computer Science/IT) and 2 years relevant job experience after passing the educational qualification

Level-3.Certified Forensic Professional / Certified Information Systems Security Auditor / Certified System Security Solution Designer
(Depending on the Specialization choosen)
(Duration : Six Months + Six Months Industrial Project)
Level-2(Certified System Security Professional) / Graduate in Engineering/MCA/DOEACC “B” Level/M.Sc(Computer Science/IT) and 3 years relevant job experience after passing the educational qualification

  Note:   The Completely filled in Entrance Examination Form should be submitted to:

                                              Director, DOEACC Society, Gorakhpur Centre MMM Engg College Campus Gorakhpur ( U.P.)-273010
     A demand draft of Rs.166/- (150+16(Service Tax)) drawn in favour of “Director, DOEACC Society, Gorakhpur Centre”, payable at Gorakhpur        has to be attached with filled in entrance examination form .
Important Instruction for Direct Candidates:
There is also an option for a candidate to enroll through self-study mode without attending regular course having eligibility criteria mentioned for different levels. Direct Candidates need not to appear for Entrance Examination , such candidates may enroll themselves by submitting registration form for Certification Scheme latest by 6th August 2010.
